Spring has sprung which means it’s time to refresh your wardrobe for the new season. Shopping for spring/summer pieces has to be one of my favourite things to do because who can resist floaty dresses, punchy accessories and statement pieces that are designed for welcoming the warm weather and balmy nights ahead. The great thing is there are some great buys that will add a fun touch to your looks, and they won’t break bank either. It’s always fun to do the edit for this post as it demonstrates that with a little time, some strategic shopping and perseverance you can totally update your look and it doesn’t have to cost you a fortune.

This dress is marked as a beach dress but it’s such a cute style why would you just save it for just that one occasion? It’s a great colour and the shirred bodice and ruffles are adorable.

Pops of colour are made for spring. Brighten up your looks with vibrant shades to make a statement. Buy this dress now and bookmark it for a night out.

How cool is this design? Love the chunky wedge but the chain ankle strap makes it feel modern and fresh. This would most definitely work for many an occasion and instantly update an outfit.

Crisp white tops are perfect for spring. This style is ridiculously affordable and the crossbody silhouette and just the right amount of sheerness makes it the ideal pairing for everything from denim to your favourite skirt or pants.

Little details can truly elevate a simple piece. The rainbow shirring on this top is so much fun. It would add a subtle hit of colour to any look and the style with its puff sleeves is just the perfect on trend piece to take you through the next few months.

Don’t have a pair of white shorts in your closet? Rectify that immediately. These would go with absolutely everything and work for myriad occasions. Wear it to the beach one minute or dress it up for drinks with the girls the next.

This is one of those staple pieces that you’ll no doubt wear multiple times throughout spring/summer. It’s perfect for dressing down with sandals or dressing it up with heels.

I can attest to the versatility of a gold medallion necklace because I wear mine all the time. This is such an affordable piece and would work well in adding an understated yet stylish touch to almost any outfit.

Anything in liberty print is always all kinds of adorable and this playsuit should be bookmarked for gorgeous spring/summer days. The billowy sleeves and tassels seal the deal for me.

Simple and elegant, these slides will work back with many a look and instantly add a flair of sophistication to even the most casual of ensembles.

Interesting earrings are always the kind of thing you can rely on to jazz up an outfit. This pair is simple enough to work back with myriad looks but the rope texture makes it extra fun.

You can’t go wrong with tortoiseshell sunnies and this pair is just the thing to complement any look. Sunglasses are always one of my go-to ways to update an outfit, and at under $100 you can’t go wrong with this pair.

I gravitated towards the modern print on this scarf immediately. It’s the kind of thing you can use to add a chic finishing touch to an outfit, but it’s versatile enough to be worn as a headband, hair tie and add a design flourish to your fave handbag.

Love this crop and its versatile shade, but if beige isn’t your thing there are plenty of other colours to choose from!

A cropped chino is a great alternative to jeans this coming spring/summer. Pair it with a chic ribbed tee and sandals and you’ve got yourself a winning look.

Gold necklaces have become a firm favourite in my style repertoire and this chain is a great piece at an affordable price. You’ll come back to it again and again.

It’s always so great to be able to do this round-up and uncover all the stylish, affordable fashion buys out there. We’re still in the midst of winter dressing so I’ve made sure to include some cosy pieces to snuggle up in, along with statement knits that are guaranteed to add a lift to any look. Plus there are some luxe for less accessories that are going to add some polish and personality to an outfit. Here are some of the best buys under $100 this month.

These Gucci-esque loafers are always a great option for comfortable yet elevated footwear. A few great flats are always a staple of any wardrobe, and when you can find a pair as affordable as this, it would be remiss of you not to snap them up.

Turning up the colour when it comes to winter looks is one of the best ways to turn a tired outfit into something you’ll want to put on. A cardi such as this, with its vibrant injections of colour is just the thing to put a pep in your step.

I love the versatility of a jumper like this—the grey colour is something that will go with virtually anything while the shape and the simple buttons are understated enough to enable this piece to work back with so many different outfits.

In case you’ve missed the memo, beige is back! And this affordable sweater is one way to dip your toe into the trend and have a new go-to in your closet that’s guaranteed to play nicely with myriad outfits.

Ever since I introduced a chunky gold chain into my life, I haven’t stopped accessorising with it. It’s a unexpectedly versatile piece and can turn even the most casual of outfits into something more. Plus when it’s this affordable how could you not?

Loungewear is still always on my shopping list as it’s something that’s always in high demand in my wardrobe. These tracksuit pants from Assembly Label are equal parts comfortable and on trend.

Love this drop shoulder striped top for its oh-so perfect shape and the classic pattern. If you want a failsafe top to add to your collection, you should definitely try this design.

Compiling the edit for this post is always so much fun because it’s seriously great to see how many really on trend, versatile pieces are out there for under $100. I think that no matter your budget, there’s always a way to update your wardrobe with great, affordable pieces. I think a high-low mix is always the key to cultivate a look that’s all your own and the best part is, you don’t have to break the bank to do it.

Love a matching loungewear set for a day spent at home and this one is perfect — great colour, price and most of all it looks utterly comfy. Bookmark this look for your next Netflix session.

A cable knit turtleneck jumper is one of those things that I just love during winter as it’s such a polished piece to pair with more casual pieces like jeans or a cropped pant. You can’t go wrong with a neutral hue like this because it goes with virtually anything.

I had to share these jeans because as someone who is petite, I am forever trying to find jeans that are just the right length. So when you find a good pair, in a great wash made for a more diminutive stature, it’s important to alert everyone to them!

Elastics are usually relegated to the bottom of most gym bags, but not these vibrant elastics by The Upside. They’re a playful touch to a workout look and so much more fun than the regular kind.

Great frames are a staple of any look for me and these are just the thing to add a pop of colour to an outfit and give them a little extra touch of attitude.

‘Tis the season for stocking up on cold weather essentials and a great beanie should be one of them. This is made of cashmere which makes it just that much more luxe.

I love the Camilla and Marc range of tees as they’re super sleek and simple in design which makes them great for mixing and matching. You can’t go wrong with a classic monochrome palette like this.

I am really loving statement earrings at the moment and have found to be a really easy way to update existing looks. This pair is so on trend, yet has a classic vibe to them that will allow you to wear them beyond this season.

Supergas are one of those sneakers that you just can’t go wrong with. What I love about this pair are the rainbow eyelets — such a fun touch and they give a classic pair of white sneakers some extra personality.

These trackies come in a range of different colours, so if you want some inexpensive loungewear updates, this is one to consider. A tapered style is really great as it looks a bit more ‘fashion’.

Compiling this post every month always results in unearthing some great buys. I’ve always been a firm believer that a stylish look doesn’t have to cost a fortune, and I’ve always favoured a high-low mix when it comes to my wardrobe. I’ll work back affordable pieces with slightly pricier items, and firmly believe an expensive price tag doesn’t always equate to great style. I’ve found some fun fashion pieces for under $100 that will become a welcome addition to your outfit repertoire.

Simple jewellery that can be worn on a day to day basis is always an important part of any accessories collection, and these earrings definitely fit the brief. They’re versatile enough to be worn in several different ways while still elevating any outfit.

This jumpsuit is such a great casual look option. Plus it’s a great option to have on hand on those days when I just want a simple, unfussy outfit. Worn with sandals or sneakers, it’s an easy way to do off duty dressing.

A little Bottega-esque, this pouch with its puffed, quilted texture is right on trend. Use it to add a little injection of fun to look, plus it’s a great size to carry your daily essentials.

I’m a huge fan of layering necklaces, and this choker achieves the effect without having to fuss around trying to determine which necklace goes with this. Love the celestial theme too.

I am always on the hunt for the perfect white tee so this top caught my eye because it has a polished feel which means it can be worn in a casual way, but can still be paired back with slightly dressier looks.

Now that we’re heading into autumn/winter, a pair of great black pants is a must. I can see this being worn with a tee or a button down, layered with a jumper and coat, and making for such a stylish, yet cosy ensemble.

The colour and cut of this dress makes it such a great after dark look. The green hue is a fun alternative to the LBD, while the streamlined silhouette ensure it still looks elegant.

A denim shirt is one of those things that if you don’t have one yet, you won’t realise just how versatile it is. This Levi’s number is a great hue for doing a double denim pairing.

Black slides are such a great addition to any shoe wardrobe. I’ve always found them to be easy to pair with multiple looks, plus the simple and elegant style ensures it can be worn in myriad ways.

A dainty cuff makes a great layering piece, and this style would make a pretty addition to any jewellery stack. Or you could allow it to shine on its own and use it to add the perfect finishing touch to an outfit.

I have spoken of my love of oversized denim jackets of late and this is one perfect example of it. The faded black wash, combined with the relaxed silhouette make it ideal for the popping over many an outfit.

Earrings are one of the best and easiest ways to transform the look and feel of an outfit. This gold pair is fun enough to make a statement but not so OTT that it can’t be worn with multiple looks.

Balloon sleeves? Tick. Ruched bodice? Tick. Beautiful print? Tick. This top ticks all the boxes and is the kind of thing that can I could see pairing as beautifully with a skirt or pants as it does with denim.

I’m all about practical but attractive storage and organisation options and this is cosmetic case is roomy enough to house most beauty products, but not so oversized that it can’t fit easily into most bathroom drawers.

With a slight nod to Bottega Veneta’s puffed shoe range, this is a stylish and sexy addition to any event wardrobe. I love the fact that it’s sleek and simple enough in design that it can play well with most looks easily.

Good, practical basics are the cornerstone of most wardrobes and this black bodysuit fits into that category. I love a bodysuit as it removes any wayward garments becoming untucked, plus it achieves a really clean line.

I’m all for practical and affordable sun protection and this bucket hat is just the thing that you can pop into your bag for everyday use. Also black is an easy one to work with as it can be paired back with multiple looks.

This little playsuit is perfect for the beach or a casual outing. Just pair it with some slides and you’re set.

Simple espadrille slides are a summer staple and this pair with its crossover straps is a fun addition to a beach look.

Red and pink is such a vibrant and fun colour combination, and when you throw a polka dot print in the mix you’ve got yourself a winner. This slip dress style is the kind of thing that’s made for a night of dinner and drinks.
